Must visit Fantastic stay, highly recommended. Keith and Joe are great hosts and have a fantastic set up here. I can’t fault this place in any way. Plenty of wildlife to see with unbelievable views to the forest. The location (4x4 needed but not terrible) acts as a great vantage point to see the incredible local beaches and a number of nature reserves also. Will definitely return.

Nature’s Edge Boutique Hotel amazing experience!! We spent 12 days at the Nature’s Edge Boutique Hotel in Uvita and my husband and I had the most relaxing and welcoming experience in Costa Rica. This was the second time we spent time in this boutique hotel and we loved it even more second time around. The casita was amazing and the views were so espectacular that we spent every morning from 5:30am in the balcony taking pictures of birds and animals on the trees. The bed is probably one of the most comfortable beds I have slept in and the pillows and beddings were amazing in quality and comfort!. Joe and Keith were so friendly and welcoming that we felt we were staying at a friend’s house. The breakfasts freshly made and served by the pool by Joe and Keith every morning were amazing and delicious, varied and they always had attention to detail and catered to any especial dietary request. The conversation was always something to look forward too in the morning and any information regarding day trips and places to go, they were both so knowledgeable and happy to help. I am an animal lover and an amateur photographer and I loved the view from our casita, I took so many different birds species pictures! it was amazing! I would highly recommend this Boutique Hotel and we will 100% be back 😊 thank you Joe and Keith for making our stay feel so especial 🙏🏼🙏🏼

Natures Edge is a slice of Paradise on the Pacific Coast We wish we could've stayed longer and are already trying to work out when we can come back! Natures Edge is an absolute piece of heaven, the cabins are spotlessly clean, private and stylish (the view from the balconies are just to die for) and the common area/swimming pool is equipped with everything you'd ever need to enjoy your stay. The hosts and owners Joe and Keith are attentive and the breakfast they cook and serve each morning is amazing! Their gorgeous little dog Louie was just the icing on the cake and I can't wait to return in future. So peaceful, service impeccable and could not recommend enough! Stay here!!!

We stayed in Aracari at Nature’s Edge for 3 nights and wished that we’d had more time at this hidden gem. Simply put, if you plan to go to Uvita and you appreciate peace and quiet, stunning views, and amazing hospitality, you should stay at Nature’s Edge. This review is long overdue, but in all honesty, not a day has gone by since our return from Costa Rica that we haven’t reminisced about what a fantastic stay we had at Nature’s Edge and in Uvita. Mountainside delight! If you're interested in having a beautiful mountain view, tasty home cooked breakfasts, comfortable bedding, and the convenience of being close to town, this is the spot! The owners go out of their way to make sure you are completely comfortable, including making delicious banana bread and a fruit smoothie for you when you can't make it to breakfast. Very peaceful surroundings, I enjoyed ending my day on the private deck in the hammock or rocking chairs, watching the toucans in the trees right beside the deck or the monkeys swinging in the canopy below. Nature's Edge is indeed "jungle chic", my stay was indeed magical!

Tolle Unterkunft mit herzlichen Gastgebern 😀 - Joe & Keith sind ganz wunderbare Gastgaber. Vor allem durch die beiden wurden unser Aufenthalt zu einem tollen Erlebnis. Die Casitas sind sehr, sehr sauber & top ausgestattet. Die Lage Mitten im Dschungel ist ein Traum & das Frühstück war das beste, was wir hier in Costa Rica gegessen haben. 😞 - None

Pura Vida It was just fabulous. Keith and Joe live their work through and through. We felt like home. With a great, freshly prepared breakfast in the morning we could start the day perfectly. The room Heliconia was clean, friendly and bright. If you have any questions Keith and Joe were available to us with advice and deeds and even in an emergency situation, they could always help us. We are absolutely satisfied and for us this was by far the most beautiful accommodation in Costa Rica. Thank you very much both!

I love this little gem! My husband and I are full time residents in Costa Rica and wanted to escape the mountains of Grecia to see the whales. Keith and Joe are the most wonderful hosts. The casita was spotless which is difficult to achieve in the tropical climate. The bed was perfect. The views...outstanding. The breakfasts were individually made to order and very health conscious. Pool and beach towels as well as binoculars were readily available. The kitchen by the pool was fully stocked but we ate out for the 3 nights we stayed. There are 4 casitas but only 1 other was occupied. It was so relaxing. No noise but the jungle. I highly recommend this place to anyone who enjoys the sounds, sights and feels of nature. We would definitely return.

Great spot , terrific hospitality, amazing birding. Cassitas are very clean and comfortable. We are full time residents in Costa Rica and this was a very pleasant 3 day retreat. Additionly many nice restaurants close by just down the hill.

Fantastisch! 😀 - De ligging is fantastisch en de accommodatie van alle gemakken voorzien. Prachtig uitzicht op de jungle. Alles is perfect geregeld, schoon en de bedden zijn heerlijk. Gastheren Keith en Joe zijn zeer vriendelijk, denken met je mee en verzorgen een heerlijk ontbijt. Leuke bijkomstigheid zijn de rondvliegende toekans. Echte aanrader en de gemiddelde score van 10 is volledig terecht! 😞 - -

Awesome! Great accommodation. Joe and Keith welcome you with open arms. The cottage is really top. The bed is top notch, the bathroom is top notch and especially the view is top notch. In short, if you are traveling along Uvita, you should definitely stay here for a few nights!

Incredible! 😀 - Everything! I can’t recommend this hotel enough. It’s like a blend between luxury hotel, jungle camping, and a private villa. Natures Edge is more than just a hotel, it’s an experience. You fall asleep to the sound of the jungle all around you, and wake up to the most stunning sun rises, along with bird call and howler monkeys. The views over the jungle are incredible, and every morning we watched Toucans sit in a tree just metres from our balcony. At breakfast, hummingbirds hovered around the flowers beside the pool. There are only 4 bungalows, so it feels very private. We pretty much had the pool to ourselves for two days. And what can I say about Joe and Keith? The most lovely people. We spent part of our honeymoon here, and they decorated our bungalow and left Prosecco in the fridge. Just so lovely. They’ve also thought of everything here. From blue face flannels so white ones don’t get stained, to umbrellas. Those little touches have been really thought out. I honestly can’t recommend Nature’s Edge enough. It’s truly magical, and something quite unique. To be honest, you’d expect to pay twice what it costs. Amazing. 😞 - Nothing!

De toekans vlogen je om de oren, geweldig uitzicht om te relaxen in je hangmat 😀 - De hele locatie is top, midden in de jungle met geweldige gastheren. Amazing Pension Nestled in the Jungle! Keith & Joe are attentive and warm hosts and this is felt in the discovery of their magnificent lodges! Everything was perfect: warm welcome, beautiful accommodation, Functional and clean. With delicate attention for our honeymoon. The best part: The magnificent view of the jungle from the terrace where you can observe toucans, monkeys, coatis... to recommend as soon as possible for the discovery of the South Pacific area of Costa Rica!

A unique experience. The cottage is wonderful, the views stunning. The house has everything you need, it was all very clean. The owners a charm, very attentive to everything we needed. It has a website with very useful information about the place, beaches, place of interest, restaurants.

🤩 Wow! I’ve stayed in a lot of places over the years and Nature’s Edge is one of the few which is truly memorable for all the right reasons. In short, book it and you won’t regret a thing.⭐️ Hosts Keith and Joe offered a warm welcome, fantastic communication and everything about their place is clearly a labour of love. Really enjoyed the chats over breakfast🍳 Breakfast was cooked up freshly by the pool in the outdoor kitchen and was delicious and varied each day. Fab and friendly.⛰️ Views throughout are incredible, whether from rooms or from the pool, great opportunity to see wildlife like toucans🛌 Attention to detail throughout is amazing. For instance, these have been the best quality bedsheets, pillows and mattress I’ve slept on. So good!✅ Also really appreciated things like, ceiling fans, proper hair drier(!), full length mirror, insect nets across the property, and above all the kindness from the hosts!❤️ Would stay again in a heartbeat!

Heaven on earth! If you’ve got the chance to book some nights, it’s 100% recommended. We stayed here to end our Costa Rica trip and we’re regretting not having spent more time with Joe & Keith. They’ve created a space where you feel very relaxed in the middle of the jungle. The views are incredible and being able to use the high tech kitchen is a plus (I love cooking and being able to do so with those views 😍).
