Zauberhaftes Juwel 😀 - Nature‘s Edge ist ein zauberhaftes, kleines Paradies. Die Anlage ist wunderschön und sehr gepflegt. Die Casitas haben eine raffinierte Bauweise, zwischen Wand und Decke hat es Fliegengitter, man hat das Gefühl, in der freien Natur zu sein, sogar beim Duschen. Das Bett ist supergross und bequem. Es gibt überall genügend Abstellflächen, schöne Spiegel, die kleine Küche ist perfekt ausgestattet mit richtiger Kaffeemaschine, Wasserkocher und genügend Gläsern, Tassen etc. Alles ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Wir hatten Pool- und Strandtücher zur Verfügung, alle Frottee- und Bettwäsche duftete wunderbar frisch. Von unserem Balkon aus waren verschiedene Tucane und andere Vögel zu beobachten. Wir konnten vom Bett aus die grandiose Aussicht geniessen und den Tönen der Natur lauschen. Das Frühstück war abwechslungsreich und sehr lecker und wurde von Joe jeden Tag frisch in der offenen Küche (welche wir ebenfalls 2x für unser Abendessen benutzt haben) zubereitet. Wenn wir früh zu einer Tour starteten, brachte uns Joe einen herrlich kühlen Smoothie und sein frischgebackenes sensationelles Bananenbrot als Frühstück vorbei. Der kleine Pool ist herrlich erfrischend und die Aussicht ist ein Traum. Wir haben bereits lange vor unserem Aufenthalt sehr viele Informationen von Keith und Joe erhalten und sie haben für uns die gewünschten Ausflüge gebucht. Lieber Keith und Joe, ganz lieben Dank für eure tolle Gastfreundschaft! Wir hatten einen perfekten Aufenthalt bei euch und sind dankbar, dass wir euer kleines Juwel kennenlernen durften 😞 - Alles war so perfekt, da gibt es überhaupt nichts zu bemängeln!

Precioso lugar para alojarse 😀 - El sitio es precioso, decorado con mucho gusto, tiene de todo, es grande y está impoluto. La cama es muy cómoda. Las vistas son espectaculares, sobre todo desde la piscina, parece que estás en otro mundo, es un paraíso. Los anfitriones son maravillosos, muy amables, serviciales y simpáticos. Nos ayudaron con todo y nos dieron un montón de información. Tienen todo súper organizado. El desayuno está muy rico y es muy saludable y de calidad. Nos da pena no habernos podido quedar más tiempo porque merece totalmente la pena. 😞 - None

Wow! We stayed at Joe and Keith’s boutique hotel for 3 nights and were both overwhelmed with the stunning beauty of the place. The views were amazing, room had everything you needed and Keith and Joe were the sweetest hosts. We highly recommend this place and hope to be able to come back again one day!

Exceptional 😀 - Es war einfach toll! Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und war perfekt ausgestattet. Es wurde auf viele kleine liebevolle Details geachtet welche einem ein Lächeln ins Gesicht zaubern. Die Aussicht haben wir sehr genossen und das Bett war ein Traum. Auch das Frühstück war sehr gut und wurde mit Liebe zubereitet. Wir können diese Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen! 😞 - Für die Strasse zur Unterkunft muss umbedingt ein 4x4 gemietet werden, aber das wurde uns im Vorfeld bereits mitgeteilt.

Simply breathtaking place to stay! 😀 - This place is Exceptional in every aspect, the rooms, the pool, the view, the facilities, your hosts Keith and Joe are tremendous hosts. We arrived a little early but our room was ready to go, Keith welcomed us on arrival and Joe gave us the lowdown on our room facilites and the pool and dining area. Our room "Heliconia" was situated overlooking the forrest and mountains and the view is simply breathtaking from the spacious Balcony! the room itself has been immaculately decorated and outfitted with everything you need and all is explained in great detail by Joe. The temperature at this elevation is perfect after having been down at sea level all day it makes all the difference, and simply negates the need for A/C in the evenings. you can simply leave your balcony door open (mosquito screen closed) at night and just let the sound of nature help you drift off to sleep! The pool area also has spectacular views overlooking the forrest and mountain area, the pool itself is actually a saltwater pool which we found amazing. no nasty chemicals involved! Breakfast here is tremendous with both Keith and Joe taking care of your every need and Joe was the expert cook behind a fresh, tasty and changing breakfast each morning. You can also have a good chat with them and other guests making it a very warm and personal experience for breakfast. Joe was also kind enough to deliver us a very tasty smoothie and Banana bread one morning as we left very early (05:45) for a tour one morning! During our stay just outside our room there was a Toucan that visited the tree right outside our room( it was even singing one eveing) and some Fiery billed Aricaris, even a group of howler monkeys in the trees, you truely feel right amongst nature up here away from the hustle and bustle of the main town Uvita. There is a reason this place was voted #1 in Costa Rica and you simply have to stay here to realise why! Without a doubt will stay here again when visiting Costa Rica... 😞 - absolutely nothing, everything was exceptional!

Nature's Edge is a top spot! Everything was perfect: the view from our "casita", the birds in the tree next to our deck, the shower with outlook on the valley, the usb connections in the wall, the fresh made breakfast each day different, the well equiped outdoor kitchen next to the pool, the pool itself, ... You can easily just "be" here. But there is enough to do in the neighbourhood: several waterfalls, view to whale-tail beach, Uvita, mangrove tour in Sierpe. Joe and Keith are excellent hosts and run a absolutly beatifull hotel.

Exceptional 😀 - Absolument tout était magnifique ! Keith et Joe ont tout fait pour qu'on se sente bien. L'endroit est magnifique: seulement 4 casitas excellemment décorées et très confortables, un lit king size et des coussins très confortables également, un belle piscine, des petits-déjeuners frais et savoureux servis au bord de la piscine. C'est l'endroit parfait pour se ressourcer, se reposer, observer et écouter la faune et la flore depuis la terrasse de la piscine. J'ai réservé mes vacances là sur recommandation d'une amie qui y était déjà allée et je ne regrette pas. C'est un endroit magnifique et les propriétaires sont extrêmement sympathiques et aidants. Et surtout : c'est adults only! 😀 Concernant l'accès: il est très important d'avoir un 4x4 pour pouvoir y conduire. Sans 4x4 c'est impossible ! 😞 - None

A Little Slice of Paradise! We are currently staying at Nature’s Edge in Costa Rica, in the beautiful Heliconia house, and it is truly an incredible experience. The views are absolutely breathtaking—lush greenery and stunning landscapes surround us, creating a peaceful and awe-inspiring atmosphere. The hosts are warm and attentive, always ensuring that we feel comfortable and well taken care of. In the morning, we enjoy a delicious and fresh breakfast that is both filling and beautifully prepared—a perfect start to the day. The Heliconia house is beautifully designed, and the bed is incredibly comfortable, making it easy to relax and unwind. Nature’s Edge is everything we hoped for and more, offering a perfect combination of comfort, beauty, and tranquility.

A stay to remember This was my dream stay from our tour of Costa Rica. Our casita looked over the beautiful green jungle. The trees full of monkeys and birds. A dream! The owners have received us very well and everything is explained in detail. Ales has been thought of. Both in the room and in the kitchen. You really don't want for anything! The room is super decorated and when you are in the shower you look right over the jungle with the toucans in the trees looking at you. Rest assured, no one can see inside because you have the jungle to yourself:-) Delicious breakfast while looking out over the pool to the mountains. You can't get any better. The road is a bit style but we thought it was fine to do with the 4x4. Not so bad for us. This was really a highlight of our tour and book it when it is free. You won't regret it! Only flaw is That we have to go home again:-(

Obviously stay here again 😀 - Hospitality is exceptional. Peaceful. Jungle experience. 😞 - It does require 4x4. Not a problem for us.

Awesome Experience! Highly Recommended! What a wonderful place and what wonderful hosts. The place is beautiful and very well maintained. Everything you need is there for you, they thought of everything. Keith and Joe are fantastic hosts who go out of their way to make sure you get the most out of your time there. The views from the hotel are absolutely stunning! My husband and I stayed for 4 nights and had an excellent time. There are plenty of things to do within easy reach of the hotel. We could have easily spent a few more nights and continued to have been amazed by the beauty of Costa Rica, the Pacific, the wildlife and the amazing tropical plants.

Must visit Fantastic stay, highly recommended. Keith and Joe are great hosts and have a fantastic set up here. I can’t fault this place in any way. Plenty of wildlife to see with unbelievable views to the forest. The location (4x4 needed but not terrible) acts as a great vantage point to see the incredible local beaches and a number of nature reserves also. Will definitely return.

Nature’s Edge Boutique Hotel amazing experience!! We spent 12 days at the Nature’s Edge Boutique Hotel in Uvita and my husband and I had the most relaxing and welcoming experience in Costa Rica. This was the second time we spent time in this boutique hotel and we loved it even more second time around. The casita was amazing and the views were so espectacular that we spent every morning from 5:30am in the balcony taking pictures of birds and animals on the trees. The bed is probably one of the most comfortable beds I have slept in and the pillows and beddings were amazing in quality and comfort!. Joe and Keith were so friendly and welcoming that we felt we were staying at a friend’s house. The breakfasts freshly made and served by the pool by Joe and Keith every morning were amazing and delicious, varied and they always had attention to detail and catered to any especial dietary request. The conversation was always something to look forward too in the morning and any information regarding day trips and places to go, they were both so knowledgeable and happy to help. I am an animal lover and an amateur photographer and I loved the view from our casita, I took so many different birds species pictures! it was amazing! I would highly recommend this Boutique Hotel and we will 100% be back 😊 thank you Joe and Keith for making our stay feel so especial 🙏🏼🙏🏼

Natures Edge is a slice of Paradise on the Pacific Coast We wish we could've stayed longer and are already trying to work out when we can come back! Natures Edge is an absolute piece of heaven, the cabins are spotlessly clean, private and stylish (the view from the balconies are just to die for) and the common area/swimming pool is equipped with everything you'd ever need to enjoy your stay. The hosts and owners Joe and Keith are attentive and the breakfast they cook and serve each morning is amazing! Their gorgeous little dog Louie was just the icing on the cake and I can't wait to return in future. So peaceful, service impeccable and could not recommend enough! Stay here!!!

Simply put, if you plan to go to Uvita and you appreciate peace and quiet, stunning views, and amazing hospitality, you should stay at Nature’s Edge. This review is long overdue, but in all honesty, not a day has gone by since our return from Costa Rica that we haven’t reminisced about what a fantastic stay we had at Nature’s Edge and in Uvita. Mountainside delight! If you're interested in having a beautiful mountain view, tasty home cooked breakfasts, comfortable bedding, and the convenience of being close to town, this is the spot! The owners go out of their way to make sure you are completely comfortable, including making delicious banana bread and a fruit smoothie for you when you can't make it to breakfast. Very peaceful surroundings, I enjoyed ending my day on the private deck in the hammock or rocking chairs, watching the toucans in the trees right beside the deck or the monkeys swinging in the canopy below. Nature's Edge is indeed "jungle chic", my stay was indeed magical!

Tolle Unterkunft mit herzlichen Gastgebern 😀 - Joe & Keith sind ganz wunderbare Gastgaber. Vor allem durch die beiden wurden unser Aufenthalt zu einem tollen Erlebnis. Pura Vida It was just fabulous. Keith and Joe live their work through and through. We felt like home. With a great, freshly prepared breakfast in the morning we could start the day perfectly. The room Heliconia was clean, friendly and bright. If you have any questions Keith and Joe were available to us with advice and deeds and even in an emergency situation, they could always help us. We are absolutely satisfied and for us this was by far the most beautiful accommodation in Costa Rica. Thank you very much both!

I love this little gem! My husband and I are full time residents in Costa Rica and wanted to escape the mountains of Grecia to see the whales. Keith and Joe are the most wonderful hosts. The casita was spotless which is difficult to achieve in the tropical climate. The bed was perfect. The views...outstanding. The breakfasts were individually made to order and very health conscious. Pool and beach towels as well as binoculars were readily available. The kitchen by the pool was fully stocked but we ate out for the 3 nights we stayed. There are 4 casitas but only 1 other was occupied. It was so relaxing. No noise but the jungle. I highly recommend this place to anyone who enjoys the sounds, sights and feels of nature. We would definitely return.

Fantastisch! 😀 - De ligging is fantastisch en de accommodatie van alle gemakken voorzien. Prachtig uitzicht op de jungle. Alles is perfect geregeld, schoon en de bedden zijn heerlijk. Gastheren Keith en Joe zijn zeer vriendelijk, denken met je mee en verzorgen een heerlijk ontbijt. Leuke bijkomstigheid zijn de rondvliegende toekans. Echte aanrader en de gemiddelde score van 10 is volledig terecht! 😞 - -

Awesome! Great accommodation. Joe and Keith welcome you with open arms. The cottage is really top. The bed is top notch, the bathroom is top notch and especially the view is top notch. In short, if you are traveling along Uvita, you should definitely stay here for a few nights!

Incredible! 😀 - Everything! I can’t recommend this hotel enough. It’s like a blend between luxury hotel, jungle camping, and a private villa. Natures Edge is more than just a hotel, it’s an experience. You fall asleep to the sound of the jungle all around you, and wake up to the most stunning sun rises, along with bird call and howler monkeys. The views over the jungle are incredible, and every morning we watched Toucans sit in a tree just metres from our balcony. At breakfast, hummingbirds hovered around the flowers beside the pool. There are only 4 bungalows, so it feels very private. We pretty much had the pool to ourselves for two days. And what can I say about Joe and Keith? The most lovely people. We spent part of our honeymoon here, and they decorated our bungalow and left Prosecco in the fridge. Just so lovely. They’ve also thought of everything here. From blue face flannels so white ones don’t get stained, to umbrellas. Those little touches have been really thought out. I honestly can’t recommend Nature’s Edge enough. It’s truly magical, and something quite unique. To be honest, you’d expect to pay twice what it costs. Amazing. 😞 - Nothing!

De toekans vlogen je om de oren, geweldig uitzicht om te relaxen in je hangmat 😀 - De hele locatie is top, midden in de jungle met geweldige gastheren. Prachtig uitzicht vanaf het terrasje , zowel bij het terras van de bungalow als bij het zwembad. Joe & Keith serveren elke dag een ander en geweldig divers ontbijt met verse producten 😞 - -
