We are located in The Costa Ballena Region of Costa Rica on The Southern Pacific Side of the country.

Nature’s Edge is in the town of Uvita. Marino Ballena National Park and the famous Whales Tail are both located in Uvita.

You are only a little over a 1 hour drive away from Manuel Antonio National Park and 2 1/2 hours away by boat from Corcovado National Park.

Visit Any Time

A visit to your Uvita B&B/Inn Boutique Hotel is perfect year round. There are two seasons in Costa Rica, the green (rainy) season which is our winter from May through November. And the dry season, our summer from December through April!  Two beautiful seasons offer their own unique experiences, however, locals know it’s the green season that makes Costa Rica the bountiful country it is.

Don’t get us wrong, we love the summer months and the heat, but the summer months bring crowds and the tourism industry operating at full tilt. Great for us hotels! But as a tourist, consider; prices are higher, attractions are crowded, and, hotel, restaurant and tour reservations need to be made well in advance! 

Whether rainy or dry, Costa Rica is a beautiful country that is to be enjoyed all year round. But it is the rainfall that makes Costa Rica so lush and beautiful – so don’t miss it.
