Uvita – Where Tropical Rainforest Mountains and Beaches Meet
When coming to Costa Rica many travelers don’t consider Uvita and we don’t understand why. The rainforest covered mountains cascading down to the sea provides for some amazing adventures and delights of nature. Uvita is just as beautiful as Manuel Antonio. However Uvita is less developed and not as crowded. A visit to Uvita is so worth it and should be part of any vista to Costa Rica.
Centrally Located – Uvita Is Home To Nature’s Edge
Uvita is located in the center of The Costa Ballena Region. When you stay at Nature’s Edge you are in the middle of it all! From here you can set off on a number of adventure tours and activities or just relax in the tranquil jungle canopy surroundings of the hotel.
Our location is perfect for a visit to three of Costa Rica’s National Parks; Marino Ballena National Park, Manuel Antonio National Park, or Corcovado National Park.
Uvita is home to many restaurants and shopping. It is the main town for the entire region which includes Dominical to the north and Ojochal to the south. These other towns have their own charm and should be visited while staying with us. Uvita however will have everything you need to make you vacation complete.
Additionally we are the perfect location to be if exploring waterfalls, mangroves, beaches, and rainforests is on your vacation agenda. After you learn more about our location and the area, you will soon be planning your trip to see us.
Your stay with us will be extraordinary as we are a top rated hotel in the area – see our reviews.
Visit Any Time
There are two seasons in Costa Rica, the rainy/green season which is our winter from May through November. And the dry season, our summer from December through April! Two beautiful seasons offer their own unique experiences, however, locals know it’s the green season that makes Costa Rica the bountiful country it is.
Don’t get us wrong, we love the summer months and the heat, but the summer months bring crowds and the tourism industry operating at full tilt. Great for us hotels! But as a tourist, consider; prices are higher, attractions are crowded, and, hotel, restaurant and tour reservations need to be made well in advance!
Whether rainy or dry, Costa Rica is a beautiful country that is to be enjoyed all year round. But it is the rainfall that makes Costa Rica so lush and beautiful – so don’t miss it.
