Accommodations at Nature’s Edge
You will experience “nature on the edge” the moment you arrive! Situated on a 10-acre oasis overlooking the jungle canopies Nature’s Edge features 4 jungle chic 500 sq. ft. casitas. Each casita includes a kitchenette, a comfy king bed, a shower with a jungle view, private bathroom, and a private balcony or patio. There are 2 casitas with partial ocean and jungle views and 2 casitas on stilts nestled above the jungle canopies with mountain and cloud forest views.
Outdoor Living at Nature’s Edge
Your stay would not be complete without a visit to Terreza de Alma, our outdoor gathering spot that jets out into the jungle all around you! Terreza de Alma is equipped with a full kitchen, BBQ, pool, living room, and dining area.
Our salt water pool with a luxurious coral tile deck jetting out into the jungle is the perfect place to refresh and relax.
You will enjoy the tranquility of the jungle many times being the only ones enjoying the space, as Nature’s Edge is a small boutique adults only hotel with no more than 8 guests staying with us at anytime.
You can mingle and make new friends from around the world or relax on a lounge chair listening to the sounds of the jungle.
The making and renewal of Nature’s Edge
When originally built from the ground up in 2017, attention to detail was clearly a priority. The original owners put their hearts into creating you a home away from home environment. In 2020, new owners took over Nature’s Edge. We added some upgraded touches to make this boutique hotel even more appealing and luxurious for you.
Nature’s Edge Location – Perfect For Relaxing or Adventuring
The mountainous jungle canopies of the town of Uvita, Costa Rica is where you will find Nature’s Edge.
The region is home to The Marino Ballena National Park (which includes the popular “Whales Tail” – a natural rock and sand formation caused by the sedimentation generated by tides. You can walk into the middle of the ocean during low tide.).

The area is celebrated for its incredible biodiversity. Costa Ballena is a hot spot for eco-tourism from whale watching, nature hikes, birding, beach adventures, waterfall explorations, fishing, scuba and snorkeling. You are sure to find an adventure to suit your needs.
Visit one of the four national parks near Nature’s Edge. We can help you arrange a visit to Marino Ballena National Park, Isla de Cano National Park, Manuel Antonio National Park, or Corcovado National Park during your stay with us.
If relaxing is on your mind, get comfortable on the balcony of your casita and enjoy a spa treatment surrounded by nature. After you are relaxed and rejuvenated, take a plunge in our saltwater pool while taking in all the mesmerizing jungle views and sounds.
The entire region consists of the towns Dominical, Uvita, and Ojochal. The region has all the conveniences travelers need including shopping and restaurants.
Because we are located at 1200 feet above sea level, guests will enjoy cool mountain breezes in the evenings, perfect for sleeping after a day of adventure.
